I write literary narrative nonfiction and speculative fiction rooted in systems—government, surveillance, biotech, belief.
My latest project, A Light Camping Trip, is a narrative nonfiction account of the first CIA drone strike outside Afghanistan, drawn from my time embedded with a CIA team in Yemen as a defense contractor (Arabic linguist). The manuscript has been cleared by the CIA’s Prepublication Review Board and is currently under submission.
I’m also at work on a speculative fiction series that explores corporate control, bio-surveillance, and food systems in a near-future Earth. The first book, Original Flavor, is currently under submission.
When I’m not writing, I work in tech, play music, and occasionally pick up a camera.
This space hosts excerpts, photography, and updates on current work.
